Is the PS flopping, and why are PS games still being made?

Question

Is the PS flopping, and why are PS games still being made?
How popular is the PS? It looks like the future, considering it plays bluray, DVDs, PS and PS games its true that the recent PS consoles dont play PS games isnt it?. But its really pricey and in face of the Nintendo Wii and XBox , is it flopping?

Answer

Games are still being made for the PS simply because it is ridiculously easy to make games for it. The people that tend to buy the movie tiein games at the present moment are the people who havent bought a PS yet, which is why they are mainly made for PS. Also, the budget for a PS game compared to a PS game is larger, so it may be about cost. Besides, the PS was and still is the most popular console in history, so a PS game would have a larger audience than a PS game.brbrIs the PS flopping? No. It has caught up to the in terms of sales in several areas, such as europe, has been doing very well in Japan compared to the in recent months, and is proving more and more popular as time goes on. Its not very pricey once you consider the price of the necessary accessories as well. brbrSony was looking at the longterm sales when they released the PS, which will begin to go the way their within the next year or so, and games such as Haze, Metal Gear Solid , Killzone, God of War etc, as well as products such as PS Home and PlayTV will only speed up the process. So no, it is far from flopping.
